The Telangana State has been chosen for the "Promising State of the Year" award by CNBC-TV18 2016 as part of the India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) instituted by the channel.In a communication to state government,CNBC-TV18 said the award would reaffirm India Business Leader Awards commitment to encouraging business leaders in India. The Minister for industries and IT K.T. Rama Rao has received the award on behalf of the state government of Telangana.

Minister KTR gave a reward of 2,11,111 to GHMC worker T.Venkataiah named "Best Worker in India". The Union Ministery for Urban Development has selected T.Venkataiah for Best worker Award under SwachhBharat. KTR personally has given 1,11,111/- rupees and GHMC has given 1L to that great man.

Venkataiah has been working as a sanitation worker, continuously since last 16 years in GHMC, without taking a leave.

Hats off Venkataiah  make our city a better place.

Guinness Book Record Dogs

A Great Dane in the running for the Guinness World Record for "world's tallest dog" recently met Britain's smallest dog, a Chihuahua in Swansea,UK. The Great Dane, named Major, is about 1.2m tall, while the Chihuahua, called Sisney, is barely 7.5cm tall, almost the same height of Major's paws.
